Quality Assurance

Quality assurance

A multi-stage quality system for every stainless steel batch

Each batch of RIT METAL instruments passes through a sequenced inspection system before release. Dimensional, metallurgical, and surface checks are recorded at each stage so every finished instrument can be traced back through the process.

Inspection stages

Testing that governs each batch

Three核心 checks define how we verify performance and finish before any batch leaves our facility.

Hardness

Hardness testing

Hardness is verified on sampled instruments to confirm that heat treatment has produced the specified metallurgical condition across the batch.

Calibration

Jaw alignment calibration

Jaw alignment is checked and calibrated on each instrument type so that mating surfaces close correctly and consistently within tolerance.

Corrosion

Surface corrosion testing

Boil and copper sulfate tests are run on representative samples to validate passivation and resistance to corrosion on the finished surface.
