REPAIR & RETURN


REPAIR POLICY

RIT METAL instruments are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Any RIT METAL instrument that is defective will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Instruments not properly cared for, used for unintended purposes, or beyond their designed capacity will not be covered under this guarantee. Our liability under this guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective merchandise.

RIT METAL has its own repair department where all fine, mechanically functional instruments can be returned to like-new condition.

RIT METAL performs a variety of repairs, such as replacing worn TC jaws or sharpening scissors. In addition, we complete a comprehensive evaluation of your instruments to determine if further service is required.

Item(s) will be shipped back at customer’s expense.

Secure packaging prevents shipping damages incurring additional repair costs.

Best attempts at repair will be made, however due to the nature of the repair process, occasionally worn instruments will become unrepairable and will need to be replaced, and RIT METAL does not accept responsibility if this happens.

RIT METAL reserves the right to replace instruments with similar or like instruments in lieu of repair at or near the repair price, we use our own discretion in these matters and customers may or may not be contacted prior to replacement.

If an instrument comes in beyond repair and has a value of $30 or less, it will be replaced with a new instrument, if the value is greater than $30 you will receive a call with the replacement price.

Repair times vary depending on the instruments, volume, and repair need.

RETURN POLICY

PLEASE NOTE:

If you would like to return an item due to a manufacturing defect or poor workmanship and the item was used, then it must be returned in a sterile condition with evidence showing this, otherwise the item may be discarded /destroyed upon receipt and the return may not be processed. This is to ensure the safety of our team.

Once the items are received, they will be inspected. Any further findings will be communicated back to you if need be.

SHIPPING

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the items.

Shipping costs are non-refundable once paid. The cost of return shipping may be deducted from your final refund. You may want to consider using a traceable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your items.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If your return was authorized and you haven’t received a refund /credit yet, please contact your bank as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted, but we are always happy to help where we can so please get in touch should there still be a problem.
